Robin Hunter will officially retire from JBS on January 1, 2024. Robin has has been employed with JBS since 1997. She has worn many hats during her 27 years with the Authority.

Robin was originally hired as a Case Manager with the Homeless Services Program  In October 2004, she took on the role as OPC Court Liaison.  She not only worked in Probate Court with Outpatient Commitment Program, but also continued providing clinical services to the HSP Program for a ten year period. In 2014, Robin became the Coordinator for Homeless Services and then Program Director for Homeless Services During this time period she also managed the HUD Supportive Housing Program. In 2018, Robin was hired as Program Director for the Mental Illness Outreach and Supportive Services program.  In 2020, the Peer Service Program Program moved under her management.  

Robin has served as a State of Alabama Case Management trainer for the past 20 years, an active member of One Roof, an original service participant with Project Homeless Connect, and a long-term HUD Continuum Of Care member. Robin’s knowledge and expertise is well known throughout our community. She will be greatly missed, not only by JBS coworkers, but colleagues across the state. The number of lives that Robin has enriched, and strengthened is countless. Thank you Robin for your passion, commitment, advocacy, and knowledge.
